On February 22nd, also now known as “Twosday,” Women Empowerment Council (WEC) members and friends gathered at JLL’s office in Shanghai to learn more about the Future of Work.
This Executive Roundtable was led by Ronnie Yin, Head of Sales at JLL Work Dynamics China. Leaders from Chayora, Dow, ExxonMobil, Henkel, HPE, Merck, Albemarle, Bayer, Deloitte, JLL, Kraft, and the US Consulate General were able to tour JLL’s office and see examples of smart work arrangements firsthand.
JLL’s Future of Work Model has five components: Digital Drive, Continuous Innovation, Operational Excellence, Financial Performance, and Human Experience. Of these, Human Experience was of the highest priority and that workspaces need to be designed with people at the center. To ensure well-being and inclusion, the JLL offices have in-office gym, shower room, flexible and open seating (except for necessity reasons), and nursing rooms for moms.
After the office tour, WEC members continued to share best practices and pitfalls with each other over dinner at Café Gray Deluxe.
