3月27日,由康菲石油和联邦快递主办, WEC执行, 成功开展了“拓展网络&支持青年人才发展”活动。这一创新型的活动旨在加速社交机会,并为年轻人才提供宝贵的小组辅导,特别强调支持多元背景、专业领域女性的职业发展。

On March 27, the Women Empowerment Council (WEC), in collaboration with ConocoPhillips and FedEx, proudly organized the “Expanding the Network and Empowering Young Talents” event. This groundbreaking initiative aimed to accelerate networking opportunities and provide invaluable group mentoring sessions for young talents, with a special emphasis on empowering women across diverse professional fields.

在活动开幕致辞中,康菲石油人力资源和传播副总裁周晓军女士分享了他们多元、平等和包容(DEI)委员会所取得的显著成就以及最佳实践。联邦快递华北及江苏安徽地区销售部董事总经理陈勇先生强调了DEI的必要性以及他个人致力于营造包容性工作场所文化的努力。此外,在嘉宾分享环节,联邦快递中国区销售部董事总经理张轶分享了关于如何利用情绪阶梯原则来实现最佳状态的个人故事和经验。

During the event’s opening remarks, Lydia Zhou, Vice President of HR and Communications at ConocoPhillips, shared inspiring insights into the remarkable achievements of their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee. Brian Zhou, Managing Director of the Sales Department for China North, Jiangsu & Anhui at FedEx, echoed this sentiment, underscoring the imperative of DEI and his personal dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace culture. The event also featured keynote speaker Ian Zhang, Managing Director, Sales & Country Lead, China Gender Pillar of FedEx, who shared his personal stories and learnings about being at the best by using the Mood Elevator.

活动设计了互动性极高的极速社交环节,每位参与有机会与其他六名与会者进行有意义的一对一交流。此外,小组辅导环节也有幸邀请到了来自波音公司、康菲石油、联邦快递和IBM等公司的11名资深管理层作为导师参与分享,使其更加丰富多彩。

 

Additionally, the event featured a speed networking session where each participant engaged in meaningful one-on-one conversations with six other attendees, and a group mentoring session with 11 esteemed senior mentors from leading organizations such as Boeing, ConocoPhillips, FedEx, and IBM.

活动期间,围绕着何建立和拓展人脉,促进个人和职业成长&机遇、加强沟通和人际交往技能,提高在人际关系和工作场所的有效性和合作能力、平衡工作与生活:获取个人和职业支持的策略三个核心议题,与会人员展开了热烈的讨论。

Throughout the sessions, participants delved into crucial topics such as building and expanding networks to drive personal and professional growth, enhancing communication and interpersonal skills for increased effectiveness and collaboration, and strategies for a more harmonious work-life balance.

88%的参与者表示,活动超出了他们的预期,剩下的12%则表示活动达到了他们的预期。与会者分享的关键见解包括情绪阶梯练习的有力影响以及接受“60%妈妈”概念所带来的安慰。此外,参与者认同有时少即是多的观念,并强调心态对整体情绪和观点的深远影响。

An overwhelming 88% of participants noted that the event surpassed their expectations, with the remaining 12% expressing satisfaction with meeting their expectations. Key insights shared by attendees included the impactful nature of the Mood Elevator exercise and the reassurance found in embracing the concept of being a “60% Mom.” Moreover, participants resonated with the idea that sometimes less is more, emphasizing the significant influence of mindset on overall mood and outlook.
